An early edition of the Flower Fairy Alphabet. Books is sunned, but with checkerboard design and blue pictorial endpapers. Pages are browned, but all plates are present and in excellent condition. Owners signature dated (in an adult hand)  30 3 1934 on title page - making the book quite possibly a FIRST edition. The dust jacket on the other hand appears to come from 1938, since it lists Lord of the Rushie River, and is in slightly dirty but near fine condition.

Book is in very good +condition with all plates present and in excellent condition; there is  foxing to the page edges, not going on to the pages themsselves, but the wartime paper used has browned slightly. Jacket is very good, slightly dirty to rear and with a small crease on rear top edge. c1946 as Groundsel and Necklaces is the latest book listed on the reverse of the cover.
