Early edition, with checkerboard design on front cover, and blue decorated endpapers. Book is in very good +condition with all plates present and in excellent condition; there is  foxing to the page edges, not going on to the pages themsselves, but the wartime paper used has browned slightly. Jacket is very good, slightly dirty to rear and with a small crease on rear top edge. c1946 as Groundsel and Necklaces is the latest book listed on the reverse of the cover.
