Very Good Book without dustjacket, but with gilded leather cover, and marbled endpaper. Collins Clear-Type Press c 1900. One of the Apollo Booklets produced by Collins. Pages roughly cut. A nice print ing error, as the cover says 'In the 'Scutcheon'.

First edition thus. A good only softback booklet, in oversized wraps. Spine is missing the bootom 3 cm (1 1/4 inches), Edgewear ro the open end of the wraps. Still scarce.

The main set of volumes date from 1889, with two extra volumes from 1894 and 1914 respectively. All are very good with light wear and some contemporary annotation in neat Victorian hand.
